The Castle of Moura was rebuilt by D. Dinis in the 13th century and again in 1510 by Manuel. This castle from Alentejo to a large extent destroyed by Spaniards during the 18th century.
Within the walls it keeps a well-preserved tribute tower where the nucleus of Armaria is located. This is a museum with a large collection of knives, pistols and swords. The Saluquia tower has a legend about a Moorish princess who opened the doors of the city to Spanish disguised as Arabs. Also, it is a convent in ruins.
