Praia de São Rafael Beach has a wide sandy area surrounded by limestone reef in warm tones. To contemplate the diverse natural rock formations is possible in here, standing out Ponte Pequena and Ninha das Andorinhas, well-endowed with arches, caves, caverns and crags.
The vicinity of the beach is splattered by green spots forming a pines and large trees forest, among which is outlined the salt bush, a plant that, so to speak, transpires salt, so that during the very morning or late afternoon it is possible to observe salt crystals on its leaves.
This beach is completely recommended for diving, being possible to find a great amount of rocks and marine life on its waters.
