The Palácio da Brejoeira (Brejoeira Palace) was built in 1834, imitating the Palácio da Ajuda de Lisboa Palace, and is one of the most spectacular palace in the region of Minho, Portugal.
This monumental Palace in the modest city of Pinheiros (Monção) was classified as National Monument in 1919.
It is a Neoclassical palace, built up following the blueprints of the architect Carlos Amarante.
On its inside, you can admire different decorated rooms with Neoclassic style.
Surrounding the palace is found the Quinta da Brejoeira, occupying 30 hectares, from which 18 are dedicated to the Alvarinho lineage stock; 8 are woods, and around one is covered by a magnificent garden with centenary trees.
