Casa do Curro (house museum) is a beautiful example of a urban ancient house of the 17th century in the region of Minho, Portugal.
Its name is related to the Terreiro do Curro (current Praça Deu-la-Deu Martins Square). This mansion was used for different aims along many years and went under a deep restoration in 1984.
Nowadays counts with an auditorium, used for numerous cultural activities: the Paço do Alvarinho Palace (set up on the first floor), where wine tastings are usually organized, a tourism office, a space with exhibitions, and an area destined for local products, such as sweets and compotes.
