Museu da Cultura Castreja, Guimarães

Visit the Castreja Culture Museum (Museu da Cultura Castreja) during your passage through Guimarães.

This museum is located in the Solar da Ponte (built in the 18th century), about 14 km from the center of Guimarães.

It is known to be the first museum devoted to Celtic culture in the peninsular Northwest, stating its importance.

Inside you can find objects of various locations and regions.

Every day 9:30am - 12:30pm and 2:00pm - 6:00pm.
The Museum is closed during the following days: December 25th, January 1st and Easter Sunday.
