The Pegadas dos Dinossáurios Natural Monument was created in Barrio, after they discovered the oldest sauropods footprints in the world. They date back to the Middle Jurassic and are around 175 millions years old.

This place is located in the Serra d'Aire Mountains, between Fátima, Ourém and Torres Novas, and it is part of the Serras d'Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park. Nowadays it is possible to see there dinosaurs footprints.
