Praia do Meco Beach, also known as Moinho de Baixo Beach, is a extensive beach with nearly 4 kilometres of golden sand.
This beach has several nice mobile dunes, that provide great beauty to the landscape. The beach is divided into two parts: North and South.
In the North area, this beach has sunbeds and hammocks rental, lifeguard, two restaurants and even volleyball and football fields to practice different sports. It’s also equipped with a network of wooden platforms to facilitate the access to this large beach.
The South area is a well-known naturist area where nudism is well seen.
In both sides it is recommended to be aware while having a bath, as this beach has heavy swell.
This beach is awarded with a blue flag.
