The Alta Estremadura Ethnographic Museum Casa Madalena House is located in a rural house between the 18th and19th centuries, rebuilt for the museum, in the city of Rebolaria, Batalha.
This museum exhibits relevant aspects about the ethnography of the Portuguese Norte Estremenho.
The house is divided into four parts: Casa de Fora House, kitchen, bedroom, Casa do Tear House and Basement. Exhibited in here you can find musical instruments, toys, paintings, carvings, photographs, pictures and a collection of hundreds of miniature mules-chariots, ploughs, boats and typical agricultural tools of the area.
In the city of Rebolaria you can also find and viewpoint to enjoy the wonderful views over the Monastery of Batalha, the Valley of Lena and the Serra do Candeeiros Mountains.
