The Carvoeiro Cape is a local with wide landscape and natural value as it presents a great quantity of calcaric cliffs and Karrenfeld Fields.
On the north of Roca Cape, in Sintra, this is the westernmost point of Continental Portugal and, from here, you’re able to observe the Berlengas Natural Reserve.
This place is also sought by bird lovers which might observe several different marine birds in full flight or on the surrounding cliffs.
On the Carvoeiro Cape you’ll find a lighthouse, the Nossa Senhora dos Remédios Chapel, with tiles from the XVIII century, and even the Furninha grotto, where many archaeological remainings where found.
