The Iglesia de Nossa Senhora das Salas Church is a small temple located in Sines, Alentejo, Portugal.
This single-naved temple was built in 1529 over the remains of an older one, commanded by Vasco da Gama.
The construction has a very simple façade Manueline in style , flanked by two Solomon columns connected to doorjambs.
This church features a heavy look, with five buttresses topped by cone-shaped pinnacles.
Its interior houses the statue of Nossa Senhora, the patron saint of Sines, with which they go on procession by boat all along the bay every 15th August.
