The Museu de Lamego (Lamego City Museum) is located in an impressing Episcopal Palace dating back to the 18th century.
Inside you will be able to discover a collection of five fantastic works by famed Portuguese painter Vasco Fernandes (Grão Vasco), several tapestries from Brussels of the 16th century, and a collection of 7th century gilded chapels rescued from the disappeared Monastery das Changas.
This museum also exhibits the tombs from the Arab cemetery in which the Igreja de Santa Maria de Almacave was built.
