The Miradouro da Nossa Senhora da Conceição (Nossa Senhora da Conceição Lookout) is located in Ponta da Espalmaca, in the outskirts of the city of Horta, in Faial Island, Azores, Portugal.
rom this unique vantage point, you can get amazing panoramic views of the city of Horta on one side, and of the charming Praia de Almoxarife beach in the other; with Isla do Pico island in the background.
On clear days, you can even get to see the islands of São Jorge and Graciosa.
Next to the overlook stands a monument to Nossa Senhora da Conceição, crowned by a 30-metre-tall cross.
