Praia do Castelo Beach is characterised by its high rocks marking the landscape.
On its East side there is a crenel-shaped natural rocky formation and its impressive sandy area is defined by several rocky walls that provide hidden places to visitors. These contrast with the intense green pines forest, as well as with the sea plants located on the top of the crags, such as for instance marine fennels, salt bushes or saltworts. Plenty of seabirds find also shelter in here.
