The Municipal Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of Barrancos is located in an old mansion of the 19th century inBarrancos, in the Baixo Alentejo, Portugal.
This museum has three rooms, two of them housing permanent exhibitions and another with temporary ones.
The main hall is dedicated to archaeology, and it exhibits pieces and objects from the Paleolithic to the 18th century.
The second room is a representation of a 19th-century doctor’s old office. There, it is possible to observe furniture and instruments belonging to diverse areas of medicine.
