Caramulo is a Portuguese town located in the mountains of Caramulo. It belongs to the area of Tondela,Viseu.

This town looking like a thermal water resort is the perfect place to breathe fresh air from the mountains, as well as to enjoy the culinary offer of the many restaurants in the area. There is an interesting museum made up by two areas, one is the Collection of Art, and the other, a Collection of Vintage Cars. Both are unique and renowned museums.

In the vicinity you will find many options to visit natural locations, discovering the charm of the area. It’s advised to take a tour to the viewpoint located in the Caramulinho peak (1,075m), which offers excellent views over the Valley of Mondego, the mouth of Aveiro river, and the highest peaks of Serra da Estrela Mountains.
