The Grão Vasco Museum is located in the Paço dos Três Escalões, former Episcopal Palace, located next to the Sé or Cathedral of Viseu.

The museum exhibits the works of the local painter Vasco Fernandes, nicknamed Grão Vasco, one of the artists of the Portuguese Renaissance; and other renowned authors from the Viseu School.
