The Museum of Caramulo, also known as Abel de Lacerda Foundation, hosts two discrete and equally important collections: an art collection, and one about classic and ancient cars.
The art collection, originally created by Abel himself, occupies eight rooms and boasts works from Prehistory to present days You will be able to see medieval paintings, Tournai Tapestries from the 16th century, works by Dalí, Picasso, or Miró; as well as porcelains, and antique furniture.
The Antique Car collection, composed of around 65 cars and 30 motorbikes, features unique pieces such as a 1886 Mercedes Benz or a Pegaso Sport, offered by Franco, former Dictator of Spain, to the Portuguese president Craveiro Lopes.
