The Igreja de São João Baptista Church of Moura has an extraordinary Manueline, adorned with armillary spheres flanking the crest of the kingdom.
In the temple stands out its balcony-tower which was used in the past to give mass to inmates from the prison located in front of it. Next to it is possible to find the typical Patio dos Rolins (16th century) with two ogee arches windows, the fountain or bica Santa Comba and the Public Garden.
Inside the church there is an elegant white-marbled column holding the pulpit. The main chapel appears covered by a vault and offers a charming Crucifixion group Baroque in style.
The chapel on the right is adorned with Seville tiles from the 17th century. They are in dark yellow and blue colours.
Nowadays, this temple is a national monument.
