The Santuário de Nossa Senhora da Abadia (Nossa Senhora da Abadia Sanctuary) Shrine is an important religious temple located in Santa Maria de Bouro, in the concelho (council) de Armare, inside the Peneda-Gêres National Park, Portugal.
According to the legend this temple was founded by a penitent noble to whom the Virgin appeared in a cave at the beginning of the 12th century.
This Baroque church was built up in the 18 century and it features two granite towers between which stands a fascinating portico.
It currently hosts a museum dedicated to the religious ethnography which inclued an offering and votive offerings collection, and a sacred art collection.
