The Santa Maria das Junias Monastery (Santa Maria das Junias Monastery) was a Cistercian monastery built in the 40s of the 12th century. Nowadays, the monastery is fragmented, yet still counts with important Romanesque remains.
Between the cluster and the cemetery stands a quadrangular floor church with a major chapel, which inside hosts a Baroque retable.
The main facade exhibits a double window bell tower, flanked by two pinnacles which support a cross and a sundial dating from 1777. flanked by two pinnacles which support a cross and a sundial dating from 1777.
It is currently labeled as Nationa Heritage.
