The Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Fresa church, formerly known as Igreja de Santa María do Sepulcro (a name related to the Knights Templar), is one of the two monumental temples to visit within the historic centre of Trancoso, Portugal.
This church was built in the late 12th century on top of a 992 church. The Roman-Gothic style remained intact until the 18th century, and nowadays features inscriptions and frescoes on the walls that were painted in 1162.
