The Igreja de São Pedro church is located in the municipality of Trancoso and is a late-Baroque temple that was erected in 1728.
The church has a longitudinal floorplan composed of a single nave, a maior chapel, and a belltower.
It’s worth noting the part where the O Bandarra is buried. He was a trovador and poet who is believed to have propagated the myth of the returning of D. Sebastião during the Spanish dominion.
