Praia de Santo António Beach arises from the mouth of Guadiana river and has 12 kilometres of sandy area and calm and warm waters that reach the Ría Formosa estuary.
Next to it, lies Mata Nacional, a dunes forest of wild and stone pines that provides a green and fresh touch to this mediterranean atmosphere.
Besides it, passes a footpath by which also runs a touristic train, from which it is possible to observe camouflaged chameleons between the pines areas.
