This park is located in the parish of Carvalhal, in Quinta dos Loridos, an unique place dating back to the 15th century and related to the production of wine and cava. Here peace and direct contact with nature play a special role.
This garden measures 35 hectares and was designed by José Berardo in response to the destruction of the Buddhas of Bamyan. Here, you will be able to see Buddhas, pagodas, statues, terracotta sculptures and other pieces of art carefully arranged among the lush vegetation.
700 terracotta soldiers have been painted by hand, being each one unique. The garden boasts a central lake in which it is possible to see koi fishes and carved dragons rising out of the water.
