The João Soares House-museum Cultural Centre is located in a house donated by Mário Soares’ sons to the foundation, in the village of Cortes, in Leiria, Portugal.
This museum has a permanent exhibition about the 20th century in Portugal, specially focused on its political history. There are also spaces for temporarily expositions, most of them dedicated to Mário Soares and his public life as a Prime Minister and as a President of the Republic.
