Miradouro do Vista do Rei Overlook

The Miradouro do Vista do Rei Overlook is the most famous overlook of the São Miguel Island, and probably also the best one of the Azores Archipelago. It is placed Southern from the crater beside the town of Sete Cidades, in the Northeast of the island.
From it you will see an impressive 12 kilometres of circumference crater in which bottom is hosted the Azul and Verde Lakes two beautiful big lakes united forming an eight, and the village of Sete Cidades.
