Praia da Bordeira beach has dunes fields all along it until reaching Carrapateira, a population where a warm waters lagoon takes place, being possible to observe otters.
Next to the beach stands out a forest made up by huge and centuries old stone pines.
The sandy area of this beach is more than 3 km long, reaching until Pedra de Matez, an enormous crag in reddish tones.
Its scarps are well-known by their difficult-to-access fishing areas, where many seabirds shelter in.
