Wide Praia do Amado Beach extends up to three different valleys in the municipality of Aljezur, in Algarve, Portugal.

In this beach’s northern area scarps stand out reddish and orange colours. It is recommended as well to check the area of Pontal, offering a startling landscape where rocks are eroded by erosion and Zimbreirinha fishing takes place. It is usual to see vessels dragging in wooden platforms suspended on the rock, as well.

Its changeable waves made it became a well-known beach among surf lovers. There is also a wonderful surfing and bodyboarding school on it and national and international surfing events take place in here frequently.

It is a very frequented beach.
