Prainha Beach is made of sheltered little sandy areas or coves with shell shape. They are isolated by pretty rocky formations, with relief eroded by the water and the wind.
In the beach area of Portimão, the corners and rocky concavities, just as cliffs, arches, caves and caves, can be found everywhere. In addition, under the sea level, the rocks splash a colourful sea life, prompting an excellent area to scuba dive.
On the East, the cliffs make the João D’Arens Point, a privileged place that allows the sightseeing of birds such as the shag, the Jackdaw, the rock dove or the yellow legged seagull.
