The Almirante Ramalho Ortigão Maritime Museum was established in 1889, and is the oldest museum in Algarve, being its current location the Casa de Capitanía of the Faro Port.
The archives of the museum are composed of the collection of Baldaque da Silva, as well as tools and naval instruments, boat miniatures, nets, paintings, and much more.
