Praia da Culatra beach is nestled in the easternmost extreme of the homonymous island. The beach is associated with an quaint fishing village conformed of wooden cabins in the area of Faro, Algarve.
Nowadays, the village - still mostly inhabited by local fishermen - features every contemporary infrastructure you may need. Many of those fishermen can be seen gathering mollusks in the areas uncovered by the low tide.
Barra Grande beach, just two hours away, does have incredible natural pools.
