Praia de Benagil beach appears at the bottom of a deep valley located next to the fishing area of Benagil town, in Lagoa, Algarve.
Access to the beach ends in an area reserved for fishing boats, some of which also perform touristic tours to the marine grottos and the most paradisiac yet inaccessible beaches of the region.
The colorful hues of the boats in the sandy area extend towards the east until reaching an imposing cliff with ochre tones and eroded walls where you can see marine fossils.
In this beach you can see the exotic rocky formations typical in the area of Algarve,as well as many grottos and caves.
