The Lusitan-Roman Villa of Santa Vitória do Ameixial is composed of different ruins from a farming villa which was built between I b.C and the beginning of the century A.D., during the Romanization of the Iberian Peninsula.
Classified as National Monument, it is still preserves the mosaics with geometrical pattern of the rooms and the halls which surrounded a tank digged out in the rock to collect the rainwater.
