The Capela de São Gregório Chapel is a 16th century temple with an octagon floorplan, devoted to São Gregório Nazianzeno, theologist who proved the divinity of Christ.
From the building it’s worth noting the manueline rectangular-shaped entrance, soberly decorated and protected by a portico surrounding three of the sides of the chapel.
In the interior, you can see tile panels of the 18th century originally intended for the Trinas Convent of Lisbon
The temple is located in the outskirts of Tomar, between the city and the sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Piedade.
Largo Cândido dos Reis, Tomar, Portugal.
