The Capela de São Lourenço Chapel is located in Santa Maria dos Olivais, in the area of Santarém, Portugal.
This small chapel was silent witness, in the day of São Lourenço in 1385, of the union of two armies: that of D. João I and the one of D. Nuno Álvarez Pereira, just before the battle of Aljubarrota.
The chapel is devoted to the Saint Patron of the place.
In the exterior, you will find an interesting tile panel devoted to São Lourenço, symbolizing the union of both armies.
The chapel was registered as National Monument in 1921.
