Dating back to the 17th century, the Capela de Nossa Senhora da Conceição Chapel stands in front of the Castle of Loulé, in Algarve, Portugal.
The chapel features a simple façade sheltering an interior profusely decorated around the mid-18th century. On it stands out the magnificent golden altar and the expensive tile panel, where scenes of the Virgin’s life are shown.
A glass floor will allow you for contemplating a II-century-Moorish door found on the excavations.
