When you visit the castle walls you will discover the important role they played during the Islamic period. The entrance ticket also includes a visit to a part of them, but to the Municipal Museum and
Cozinha Tradicional Algarvia too, the recreation of a traditional kitchen featuring a welcoming heart, archaic tools, and copper pans.
The castle’s patio can be visited freely, and some interesting elements such as canyons or a guillotine are exhibited on it.
