Praia do Garrão Beach stands next to Praia do Vale do Lobo Beach, in the area of Loulé, Algarve.
The sandy area features a footbridges network crossing the dunes, from where it is possible to observe the plentiful and aromatic flora of the area. It is divided into two by a low crag.
In this beach, the distinguishing crags give way to vast dune fields covered in local flora.
In the west side of this beach you will be able to find a lagoon known as Lagoa das Dunas Douradas, whereas in the east appears Lagoa do Garrão, a little smaller. The water on them is fresh and frequently visited by birds such as eurasian coots, royal ducks, or purple swamphens.
