The Pólo Museológico dos Frutos Secos (Nuts museum and interpretative centre) is located in the town of Loulé, Algarve.
Here, it is possible to see grinding machines for carobs, or almond slivers, as well as learning about the productive cycles of nuts and the importance of this ancient occupation for Loulé.
This museum does not only show machines, but features photographic exhibitions and engravings about collecting and processing nuts as well. Also, it allows the visitor to get used to the old processes and learn about the importance of the activity for the area.
