The Casa dos Repuxos House, or the Fountains House, belonged to a man named Rufus and dates back to the 2nd century. It was built over the remains of an old 1st century building.
While visiting it you can appreciate the distribution of the rooms by observing the basis of the columns and the pavement. It was adorned by beautiful varied mosaics.
On its interior it is possible to identify the atrium, the entrance hall, the peristyle, and the triclinium, surrounded by a pond.
Stands out the room on the left of the triclinium, hosting a beautiful polychromed composition that represents hunting, four seasons and quadriga scenes.
