The Mercado do Bolhão Market is one of the most lively and famous regions of Porto. This market is located near the Aliados Avenue, where, since 1914, many local products are sold such as olives, cheese, smoked meats, flowers and much more.
This market has several floors located on the central patio. On the bottom part of the market you’ll find a great fish grill.
This is one of the places you shouldn’t miss visiting during your trip to Porto, as well as one of the most emblematic buildings on this city. Even if you’re not looking to buy anything it’s recommendable to visit and walk around its unique environment.
