Praia da Barriga Beach is set deep at the end of a long and lush valley in the area of Vila do Bispo, in Algarve.
It is a beach with a large sandy area protected by big black cliffs where vegetation is low and salt resistant, as well as to strong winds. The beach is quiet and features many incredible spots created by the natural erosion of the cliffs.
If you walk southbound at low tide, you will be able to reach Praia do Castelejo Beach, after going by Cordoama, where you will be able to appreciate its rocky walls, with overlapping layers and fanciful shapes.
At high-tide, the sandy area narrows, so it is advised to visit this beach at low-tide only.
