Praia da Salema Beach lies next to the homonymous fishing village, in the area of Vila do Bispo, Algarve.
Its central part is normally occupied by boats and different fishing tools. This beach is a perfect spot to see boats coming back after fishing, and then tasting delicious dishes with octopus, moray, or bream in the nearby restaurants.
The beach has a nice promenade full of terraces, as well.
In Salema there are also ruins of a Roman villa and a fish canning factory.
