Two rivers converge in this beautiful beach in the area of Vila do Bispo, in Algarve.
From Boca do Río, an old Roman villa, are still nowadays preserved remains of frescoes, mosaics, spas, warehouses, and a fish-salting factory with two related cemeteries.
Towards the west, in the cliffs, it is still possible to see the Almádena Fort (16th century).
In the vicinity of both rivers it’s possible to spot otters.
