This small museum is located in the former house of poet José Régio, in Portalegre, Portugal.
Inside, it exhibits collections gathered by José Régio himself, mainly his “folk religious art” collection he obtained during his life in Portalegre between 1929 and 1962.
The museum also features almost 400 different figures of Christ and a vast amount of rural Coimbra ceramics, which the immigrant workers from the 18th century normally exchanged for clothing.
