The Convent do Salvador do Mundo is located in the Praça do Sertório Square, in the parish of Santo Antão, in Évora, Portugal.
This convent was consecrated in 1610 by nuns of the Order of St Clare. Later, the Igreja do Colégio dos Jesuítas Church was commissioned by Cardinal D. Henrique, Archbishop of Évora. This church is a great example of 17th century Baroque convents. Next to it there is a -possibly Visigothic- old tower integrated in the monastery as a viewpoint.
Closed during the expulsion of Religious Orders, it was later also used as Barracks of Artillery. It was demolished in 1940s but the Igreja do Salvador Church and the lookout tower survived, being nowadays considered as monuments.
