The Termas Romanas Baths are located in the lobby of the Municipal Chamber of Évora. It is a Roman remains ensemble not discovered until 1987, after some works were done in the city council.
These astonishing baths have a laconium (hot room for steam baths) with a 9-metres circular pool very well-preserved.
These baths make up the largest Roman public construction of Évora (300m2). It also includes a Natatio, an open-air pool discovered in 1994; and a Praefurnium, working as a central heating system for the nearby rooms.
