The Arpad Szenes - Vieira da Silva Foundation is installed in a restored and refurbished 18th century building, the former “Real Fábrica dos Tecidos de Seda”. It faces the arches of the Lisbon aqueduct and the small Chapel of Our Lady of Monserrate (1786) in the Jardim das Amoreiras.
It houses a large collection of the works of Maria Helena Vieira da Silva (from 1926 to 1986) and Arpad Szenes (from 1911 to 1985).
