The Nozzles House (Casa dos Bicos) was built in 1532 by the son of the second governor of portuguese India, D. Brás de Albuquerque.
After a trip to Italy, D. Brás de Albuquerque order the construction of what would become the only example of civil residential architecture in Lisbon.
Apart from the famous “nozzles” that cover the main facade, the architecture is also famous for the uneven distribution of windows and doors, with different sizes and dimensions.
