The Parque das Nações (Nations Park) constitutes a residential, cultural and commercial borough built on the Oriental part of Lisbon using the infrastructures built for the worldwide known Expo 98 Exhibition.
On this area different, modern and creative forms of architecture and design are highlighted such as the arched roof of Oriental Gare, train station, designed by Santiago Calatrava and the famous roof of the Portugal Pavilion designed by Siza Vieira.
It also has several gardens, as the Garcia da Orta gardens, Museums, as the Oceanarium and the Knowledge Pavilion, a marina, a wide conventions centre (Lisbon’s International Fair), a Concerts’ Pavillion - Atlantic Pavillion and much more.
